Sales

Kevin Alker

Vice President

Kevin Alker is a native of New Orleans, a seasoned Sales professional, and has spent more than 25 years building business and servicing customers.  He started his Sales career with Garrity Printing where he also achieved a vice president position.  He continued his Sales initiatives with Harvey Press and later became president of Harvey-Hauser Press.  His leadership skills were essential when Harvey-Hauser merged with Garrity Printing in 2010 to create the new Garrity Solutions.

Alker studied geology at Louisiana State University, marketing at the University of New Orleans, and is an Army veteran who served in the 101st Airborne Division.

Among his many accomplishments,  Alker was named Service Supplier of the year by the New Orleans Advertising Club in 2002.  He is also a member of the Greater New Orleans Executive Association, whose members serve their customers with high-quality goods and services at a reasonable cost in a variety of industries in the New Orleans region. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors for The United Way of South Louisiana and a member of the Sean Payton Play It Forward Foundation.

Brian David

Brian David has deep roots in the New Orleans area printing industry.  His grandfather founded Franklin Printing in the 1920s where he began his career after college. His work during college for Coleman Communications Advertising gave him the opportunity to learn Graphic Design and photography.  These skills enabled him to learn the business from all angles.  He moved to Harvey Press and worked in Sales for 15 years before partnering with Kevin Alker to purchase Hauser Printing in 2006.  This successful partnership led to the purchase of Garrity Printing in 2010 to form the new Garrity Solutions.

David earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of New Orleans and graduated from  De La Salle High School.  His involvement with the Mid-Winter Sports Association, which stages the annual Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, allows him to strengthen community relationships on a continual basis.  His interests also include regatta sailing events, swimming, lacrosse, track and field, volleyball, and other sports.

Harold "Diesel" Dermott

Sales

Harold “Diesel” McDermott has worked in the automotive marketing and Sales business for more than 25 years.  He has spent the last 15 years in a staffed Sales event management position where his strong leadership and closing rates produce results.  With thoughtful marketing strategies and management of his Teams, Diesel can increase foot traffic and revenues for partnering dealerships.

Rusty Harris

Sales

Rusty Harris has extensive sales and marketing experience. This foundation enables him to provide much more than just the coordination of printed materials.  His well-rounded approach to projects includes knowledge of direct mail strategies and printing operations.  In addition, his exemplary customer service creates a seamless and enjoyable experience for his clients.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Ball State University, Muncie, IN.  He is a former board member, and current Development Committee member of Project Lazarus in New Orleans.

Danny Lacrouts

Vice President of New Technology

Danny Lacrouts has developed impressive experience in virtually all areas of commercial printing.  His knowledge, coupled with a clear understanding of the latest industry trends, has enabled him to develop and maintain customer relationships.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in the printing industry, is an HP-certified Indigo press operator, and has worked extensively with variable-data printing for the last decade.  Lacrouts joined Garrity Printing in 1992 as a shipping supervisor.

He successfully moved from shipping to the different production departments where he learned the operations necessary to prepare him for more challenges.  He has since then worked as a customer service representative, and became the vice president of new technology when Garrity Solutions merged with Harvey-Hauser Press in 2010. To add to the list of his accomplishments, he was named Service Salesman of the Year in 2010 by the Ad Club of New Orleans.

A native of New Orleans, Lacrouts is a graduate of Bonnabel High School and remains active in his working and personal community.  He is a volunteer baseball coach in St. Tammany Parish and serves as a board member of the St. Paul’s High School baseball program in Covington, LA.

John Maloney

Sales

John Maloney is a New Orleans native and has spent more than 40 years in the graphic industry.  He gained his printing experience from the ground up starting with production, typography, and Graphic Design.  He strengthened his experience by training in pre-press operations, estimating, and purchasing.

Maloney served as vice-president and chief administrator for Crown Sterling International, and has spent the last 16 years in Sales with Garrity Solutions.  He studied Liberal Arts at the University of New Orleans and graduated from Del La Salle high school.
